Encourage every child in whatever interest they currently have at the moment that will help them find their place in this world as they grow up and parents are responsible to mold them into well-rounded individual. For the kids and parents to reach that goal of a better future, Nestle NANKID hosted the NANKID Reshape Glamp. A fun filled summer afternoon with exciting activities for the young ones. The camp event aimed to nurture child's personality, overall behavior and showcasing optimal nutrition—the essentials in promoting and obtaining child’s optimal growth. During the event, the guests gear up for an exciting adventure ahead, parents and their children met with their camp masters that explained the camp rules and were given camp essentials they can use at every campsite activity.  

FISHING FOR NUTRITION

Parents and kids gamely went fishing for nutrition tips. Here, they learned that good nutrition, such as that provided by Nestlé NANKID, plays a major role in ensuring that an individual grows up to be healthy physically and cognitively.

PLAY MOUNTAIN

Parents and children threw a giant dice to get to the summit and finish the positivity trail. They could land on a space that makes it faster for them to reach the summit, but they could also land on a space that would force them to go back several notches. Each space had a message for the parents and kids to make them reflect on the moves they have taken. Through the game, children realize that challenges and difficulties can actually be growth opportunities.

STORYTELLING SESSIONS  

Everyone gathered together for a short and interactive storytelling session. Led by a camp master, kids had to run, hop, jump, and interact with others to tell stories. This fun-filled activity showed the parents how kids easily mirror their actions and the people around them.

  

DEAR FUTURE CHILD

Parents also reflected on their aspirations for their children, where they wrote letters expressing their commitment to do their best in helping their children prepare for life’s ever-changing challenges and complexities in the years to come.  

The Nestle Nankid Reshape Glamp was held at Enderun Colleges last May 21, 2019. The Belo-Kho family was also present during the camp with the very adorable Scarlet Snow. Kids had so much fun enjoying every camp site that were provided even me and my daughter.

Mega Prime's Prime Mom Club Workshop

This summer season since school is over kids at some point during their vacation tends to get bored. So start planning a summer filled with boredom-busting fun with your kids. Make a list of all the fun you can have together as family.

Last April 13, 2019 Mega Prime held the third installment of highly anticipated Prime Mom Club workshop at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong. The event started at 10am to 3pm, joining the panel facilitated by preschool teacher and kiddie events host Celine Cornejo are bloggers and businesswomen Ginger Arboleda and Denise Rayala, and celebrity Chef Rosebud Benitez-Velasco. The invited panelists shared some tips to keep our children occupied while they are on break, summer activities that families can enjoy.

The talks were followed by a short workshop hosted by Teacher Celine, she highlighted the importance of playing in the development of children.  Her advocacy is to teach learning through play to parents and kids, which she demonstrated through an interactive storytelling session and a music and movement activity.

Next was an interactive cooking workshop by the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA). Participants were treated to a cooking demo. Moms and kids enjoyed making Overnights Oats and Mocha Jelly with Mega Prime’s summer products namely the Whole Kernel Corn and Nata de Coco variety using kitchenware from their official partner, Masflex. We were given opportunity to bond with our kids to learn how to prepare recipes such as sweet coolers to beat the summer heat.
